Clothing store in East London robbed

Police are investigating a case of business robbery following the robbery of a clothing store in Vincent Park, East London on Thursday.

Police spokesperson, Captain Mluleki Mbi, said information received indicated that three men entered the store just before closing time pretending to be customers.

They allegedly pulled out firearms and forced the employees and customers into the backroom, before helping themselves into what is inside the store. They then took away clothes, jewellery, cash and cell phones before fleeing the scene.

No shots were fired and no one injured.
